activ8 Celebration Day
Our school was selected to host an activ8 celebratory event because we were using the activ8 program. We held two assemblies and gave students and teachers the opportunities to create and lead activ8 activities.

activ8 Launch Event
Premier Dalton McGuinty helped launch the activ8 program at St. Vincent de Paul Elementary School in Mississauga. The Premier along with other politicians joined us in our morning workout lead by grade eight students followed by activ8 activities.
Our school was profiled on City TV, featured in the Toronto Star and gained the attention of our entire community for the healthy living initiatives we are bringing to the St. Vincent students.

cross Canada run
Newmarket and District Christian Academy (NDCA) students from grades JK to 8 ran across Canada this year and last year did the USA and are now doing various countries around the world. We hope to one day be able to say we have run across every continent.
